If you're in Palm Desert or nearby, I'll come to you myself. I'm a notary as well as an attorney, so there's no third person to coordinate and nothing extra to schedule.
Further out, Joshua Tree, Big Bear, or anywhere else in California, I work with a notary service that handles estate planning signings specifically. The documents come straight back to me. I assemble the binder, record the trust deed, and the finished plan ships to you.
This comes up more than people expect. Someone has stopped driving, or is planning around a recent diagnosis, or a parent is in a care facility and can't travel. It's usually the thing standing between a family and a finished plan, and it doesn't need to be.
How the process works
Most estate plans take about four weeks from start to signing.
After you hire me we hold a design meeting to build the plan around your family, then a review meeting to walk through the documents before anything is final, then the signing. Meetings can be over Zoom if that's easier for you.
You finish with a bound binder, organized with tabbed sections, holding the whole plan. It's built so that the people who need it can find what they need without calling a lawyer first.
Finding the office
The office is at 74-710 Highway 111, Suite 102, in Palm Desert, in the Village Court complex.
One thing worth knowing before you drive over: the building is signed Fusion Workplaces from the road. Watch for that rather than my name. Suite 102 is inside.
Parking is never a problem here. There's plenty of it, and accessible spaces sit right in front of the door if you need them. The entrance is accessible too.
